What is our Account Manager Role?
The Account Manager role acts as the point person for our clients. You’ll be working with your accounts on a
daily basis to ensure questions are answered, SLAs are being met, and driving home the customer experience.
You’ll serve as their logistics expert every step of the way, while also actively engaging and onboarding new
accounts throughout the entire sales cycle.

Here is what a typical day as an Account Manager looks like:
● Prospecting and Lead Generation
○ Identify and research potential clients within the direct-to-consumer industry.
○ Generate leads through cold outreach, networking, and industry events.
○ Organizing HubSpot information gathered from prospects and managing your pipeline.
○ Develop a strong pipeline of both smaller and larger accounts, each with their own sales cycles.
○ Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling content and campaigns that resonate
with target accounts.
○ Achieve or exceed prospecting KPIs.
● Pitching and Presenting
○ Develop tailored pitches and presentations to effectively communicate our value proposition.
○ Conduct engaging sales presentations to showcase our capabilities and address client needs.
○ Continuously refine and optimize sales strategies based on feedback and market insights to
improve conversion rates.
● Closing Deals
○ Lead negotiations and finalize contracts with prospective clients.
○ Overcome objections and address concerns raised by prospects during the sales process.
○ Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas.
● Onboarding and Account Management
○ Coordinate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition.
○ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients addressing any inquiries or issues promptly and
○ Conduct regular check-ins and account reviews to assess client satisfaction and area for
○ Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services to existing clients.
○ Coordinate and process the submittal of carrier and internal claims.
○ Develop and maintain comprehensive account plans outlining key objectives, milestones, and
action items for each client.
● Relationship Building
○ Cultivate a strong relationship with clients to foster trust, loyalty, and retention.
○ Solicit feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and innovation with our services.
○ Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to help clients optimize and
ultimately grow their brand!
